Pigging out!!!

The food here is very good inside and outside the hotel. We have eaten in the hotel a couple of times but tend to eat out as its less than half the price and you get to mix with the locals. Lunch times are good. We have been going to the street hawker BBQ  today we had lunch for two with 4 bottles of pop for only £3,00 and got a lot of funny looks from the locals as we sat with them to eat. I think it must be a novelty for them as most people have lunch in the hotels. We think that they are missing out. The tourists here are mainly from Japan and Korea, not many from England. In fact we where the only English for the first few days and even then you can count the English on one hand. They was a family from France but we didn't talk to them ( cant think of a reason why we should )

Yep all this was just for two.

Pass the wafer thin mint!!!!!
These where the biggest clams we have seen and they are in the soup
Below.

Not sure about these!!

Trip to Bohol Island

Went by ferry to Bohol island, famous for its chocolate hills and the smallest primate the tarsier. When fully grown they are about the size of a hamster and 180 grams. They are nocturnal so you don't get much action during the day ( like our Jack ) but at night they hunt crickets. Was a long day, we had to get a taxi to the port at 5am and didn't get back until just after 8pm. so the day after was spent doing bugger all until the F1 started then I had to get out of Jane's way. ( telly in room had it on )

First stop, one of the oldest churches in Bohol - sorry Mu I haven't converted

The Tarsier - ( I want one !! )

We was sick of lugging all them guns around anyway
We went on a river cruise that had a buffet - surprised it didn't sink after what I had

It rained in the morning but cleared up after lunch

A Choir that the raft stops at - for money i think ;-)

The Chocolate hills. In the dry season they turn brown as the vegetation dies. The hills are formed from limestone and are the product of uplift of lime stones and water erosion.

Didn't realise i was doing the I am a teapot routine

I think Jane may follow Red Bull next year as she has wings :-)   She says not!!
Don't tell Jack we made a friend...

After a long day, a welcome sight :-)))))
